Tell us about your business in 60 seconds.
Yoli Origel: Hi, my name is Yoli and I'm the CEO and founder of cancer kinship, a local nonprofit organization who recently launched a social enterprise called Kinder Beauty Wigs, an online wig store designed to empower the cancer community and cancer kinships programs through the sale of wigs. So we are excited to launch our business. We just launched last Friday and we are eager to get the word out. So, looking forward to hearing from you and hopefully partnering with Experian to raise awareness about our new business.
What is the best piece of business advice you ever heard?
Yoli Origel: The best advice that I've ever received in business was basically to build my tribe to bring in the experts, the people with the knowledge and experience to help answer questions, provide resources and knowledge, wisdom to help launch our business. And that's actually the same advice that I share with my cancer warriors at our organization to basically don't fight cancer alone. It's better to walk alongside with someone who can nudge you, perhaps even push you out of your comfort zone to get to the next level. So I'm grateful for my tribe. We would not be where we are now with an active website uh without my tribe and I am grateful for that. And that is definitely a piece of advice that I have utilized over and over again, building my tribe.
