Prof. Dr Robin Lemmens: I think it's very important for young researchers to present data to others, to their peers basically and to get asked questions about their research. To answer them correctly, but also to maybe think about the next steps in in their research. I think that is the most important thing about doing research, is to be able to communicate about it and then also move forward thereafter.
So a conference is an ideal environment to discuss with other people about your findings. And people will point out some things that you've done remarkably well and will also point out the potential limitations. You may have seen those limitations yourself, but having discussions about this can maybe move you forward with trying to find the answer to the next question.
So by coming into Munich you will have the experience to interact with your colleagues to do some networking, especially for young researchers. I think it's a great opportunity to network, to meet people and to talk to the key opinion leaders, but also some colleagues, who are also just starting. And also of course to experience the city of Munich.
