Dr. Else Charlotte Sandset: The European Stroke Organisation for me has always been a very friendly inclusive organisation and that is one of the major things I like about ESO. I have always felt at home within ESO. And it has always included me from a very young stage in my career and up until now. So I think coming to ESO and ESOC you sould not be afraid to take a contact with anyone and talk to them, make friends, make colleagues and make research collaborations for the future.
Membership to ESO gives you a lot of great benefits. You have access to our educational platform. The E-STEPS. As a junior member you're also able to attend the Summer School, the Winter School, the Edinburgh Workshop. And you can join the the Department2Department visit programme and also you join a community of colleagues from Europe, which I think is one of the great positive things about ESO.
For me ESO is friendly, inclusive and academic.
