Prof Peter Kelly: Good morning. It's a pleasure to be with you for the 3rd Armenian Stroke Spring School. I really wish I could be with you in person this morning, but unfortunately, it wasn't possible due to other commitments. I wanted to really emphasise that the European Stroke Organisation is very aware of the disparities in incidence, prevalence outcomes and mortality between Eastern and Western Europe. Through the ESO programmes such as the Stroke Action plan for Europe, ESO East and our long enduring partnership with important programmes like RES-Q and the Angels Initiative, ESO is really committed to improving stroke care across all of Europe, east and west, north and south. Today, ESO is really proud to endorse the 3rd Armenian Spring School programme. We commend the organising committee on putting together a really excellent programme and we hope that all of you enjoy the meeting. See you soon.
