Prof Peter Kelly: As past president of the European Stroke Organisation, it's my great pleasure to welcome you all to this first outreach meeting of the European Stroke Organisation in Ukraine. ESO strongly supports our Ukrainian colleagues, patients and their families who are dealing with stroke, at this difficult time. We have been highly impressed by the dedication shown by the Ukrainian stroke community to continue to advance and improve stroke care, despite the war. I wish you an excellent meeting. I'm sorry, I can't be there in person to join you this time, but I look forward to seeing you when we next meet.
