Speaker: Kate Jacobson, Sr. Manager, Marketing and Customer Experience

Tell us a little bit about your role at Epsilon – what does a typical day look like for you?

Kate Jacobson: I am a senior manager in the marketing and customer experience team. I joke around that I help market the marketers. My job is to help promote the great work that Epsilon does help explain our products to potential clients. Help tell the stories of current clients and overall just promote the great work that we do and how we help impact marketers who are trying to do better marketing.

What is one of your favorite parts about your role at Epsilon?

Kate Jacobson: My favorite part about working at Epsilon is that we get to talk about some really cool technology. We at the cutting edge of our industry and it's a really fascinating industry. I came from being a newspaper reporter before I started working here in the marketing department. And it's been really interesting to learn so much about this industry, so much about what we do and how it touches everyday things that I encounter when I see an ad in the wild. Like, oh my gosh, I bet. I think I know that how that got to me. And I think that's really fun and cool. I also really love all the people that work here. Everyone's so friendly, so nice. My team is really great. We are, we love a good laugh. We can, you know, have fun, be creative and, and be supportive of one another. And that's a really good environment to be a part of.

What stands out to you about the culture at Epsilon?

Kate Jacobson: Epsilon very much focuses on supporting people from a 1 to 1 level. I often joke that, you know, our solutions are meant to personalize marketing on a 1 to 1 level. We market to real people. And working here, you feel like even though you're part of a really big company, that you're a real person, that your managers really care about your success, that people are helping you grow along the way. There's lots of opportunities for education and learning like that. And it's really great to feel seen, especially when you work at a big company like this. I've worked at smaller companies that I haven't felt so seen. And I do love that if I do need help or if something's going on in my personal life or if I need some time off, I, we are very much encouraged to take breaks to make sure that we're good mentally, that we're good physically. and that we are, you know, enjoying our work life balance. And that's, that's a really great thing to have.
