Speaker: Steve Sussman, Vice President, Global Sales & Marketing, Column5 Consulting
What are you bringing to the EPM Summit 2026 that every attendee absolutely needs to see or experience?
Steve Sussman: Hi, this is Steve Sussman, Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for Column5 Consulting. Column5 was actually the original host and sponsor of the EPM Summit for several years. We were primarily focused on educating SAP's customers on how to maximize the business benefits they could receive from their investments in SAP's EPM software, like BPC. We're thrilled to see the relaunch of this spectacular customer event in 2026, thanks to the collaboration of Darwin Analytics and BPM Partners. Every attendee can expect to experience a unique opportunity to learn from the world's leading EPM software vendors, their implementation partners, and your fellow customers about the latest trends in the EPM market. You'll be able to experience real-life examples of how to leverage these solutions to be a catalyst for positive change in your own planning, reporting, and analytics processes.
Who do you believe should be in the room at the Summit this year – and why?
Steve Sussman: Based on the history of these summit events and the latest agenda for the 2026 summit, I highly recommend that organizations send three different types of employees. First are the functional subject matter experts. Think of anyone that's responsible for day to day FP&A, financial reporting, internal and external reporting, financial close, consolidation processes. Second, are the executives responsible for making decisions around your planning, forecasting, and reporting processes. The ones that are setting the overall vision for how AI will help automate these processes moving forward. Third, are the people responsible from an IT perspective to support your financial systems, determining the overall technology strategy for delivering these EPM solutions within your organization. I'll see you at summit.
