Please introduce yourself and share an example of God's grace in action at Transfiguration.

The Rev Rebecca Tankersley: Hi, I'm Rebecca Tankersley, senior associate rector here at Transfiguration. By God's grace, we have entered into a relationship with the residents at Saint Jude's Center. Opened in the year 2020 when the rest of the world was locked up in their houses because of the pandemic, the Saint Jude's Center is a permanent housing facility for approximately 100 of our neighbors who were formerly homeless. They intentionally look for the most vulnerable homeless residents here in Dallas and offer them permanent housing. To get them off the streets once a month, we reach out through the grace of God and serve a meal to those residents. I'm so grateful for this new ministry at our church.
