Please introduce yourself and share an example of God's grace in action at Transfiguration.
Alyson Thompson: Good morning, everyone. My name is Allison Thompson, and that's my big fig tree behind me. God's grace is in abundance in paying off financial debt. About 15 years ago, my husband and I were in a huge amount of financial debt. I would say spirit crushing debt. We confessed it, we reckoned with it, but of course, the only way we could do that, uh, was, as with everything, with God's help. I want to read to you a prayer of David from 1 Chronicles chapter 29 verse 11. Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty. Indeed, everything that is in the heavens and the earth. Yours is the dominion, O Lord, and you do rule. Yourself as head over all. Both riches and honor come from you, and you do rule over all, and in your hand is power and might, and it lies in your hand to make great and to strengthen every one. For all things come from you, and from your hand we have given you. So that prayer was so important to me, to both of us, uh, during this time, and We saw grace abound as we went on this journey.
