Shannon Hamm, LPC: Hi, my name is Shannon Ham, and I'm a licensed professional counselor at Overcomers Counseling. I see adult clients and I'm also a supervisor, so I supervise licenser candidates.
Why do you love working at Overcomers?
Shannon Hamm, LPC: I've worked at Overcomers for almost 5 years and I love working here because of the flexibility of the schedule and because I love being able to interact with my coworkers and consult about cases, and I love the opportunities that I have for training and for getting together with other counselors, um, and I just love the ability to see clients that I actually really enjoy seeing.
Share a few details about the culture or benefits you enjoy at Overcomers.
Shannon Hamm, LPC: As I mentioned before, I really love the flexibility of being able to make my own schedule. When I first started working here, I could only work one day a week and I could only see a few clients, um, each of those days. Now I work part time and I see about 15 clients a week or so, um, but I also know that if and when I need to, I can move to full time. I'm really, um, really thankful for the flexibility of being able to make my own schedule.
