Introduce yourself and describe your role at Overcomers.
Naomi Kettner: Hi, my name is Naomi Kettner. I'm a licensed professional counselor and I've been at Overcomers for 4 years now. I enjoy working with individuals who've gone through trauma, who are within the neurodiverse population, and I even enjoy doing Christian counseling.
Why do you love working at Overcomers?
Naomi Kettner: I enjoy the community and culture here at Overcomers. There's some really good ethics and so many professionals with all types of experiences you can consult with if you're ever stuck or need some new ideas. I really enjoy the flexibility to also balance your work and life, if you have a family, and I really enjoy just the support you get here.
Share a few details about the culture or benefits you enjoy at Overcomers.
Naomi Kettner: What I enjoy the most is the organization and standards of ethics here. There is so much support in those types of areas here, whether it's like legally or if we're needing to have some professional consultation about a client that might be challenging, and when we have those conversations, it's great to hear other people's perspectives and what they're also going through, so it's very validating and very open and non-judgmental at all. So the culture here has been wonderful and I'm really appreciative of that.
