Speaker: Mona Villacres, Yoga therapist & Psychologist, La Spirale Yoga Therapy Center
Describe what your yoga business was like before working with Brockell
Mona Villacres: Hello. My name is Mona Villacres I'm a clinical psychologist and a yoga therapist. I come from Ecuador South America. But in the last nine years I've been living in the south of France. So before coming here I was doing regular yoga classes and private with the psychological perspective in other places around the world for a long time I didn't own a yoga studio. So in 2018 here in France I opened my first yoga therapy center and it's it was a risky thing because I didn't know the market so well and I wasn't so sure that the audience that I was already communicating with we're going to be able to understand what's the role of the of a yoga therapist being a psychologist. So my products didn't seem so suited for the audience or the market where I live in. So I think that I had a big problem with the way I was communicating to them. What was yoga therapy and yoga psychology all about? I was becoming very frustrated because I didn't get the right numbers of clients for my income because it was very low and of course I have the feeling that perhaps my offerings, my offerings weren't suited for them at all. And that was a big struggle.
What has it been like to work with Brockell? What is your favorite part?
Mona Villacres: Working with Brockell was a rediscovery of myself. She helped me to set a mindset to see and perceive the reality that I live in a different way to get to know my clients better and the market in a different way as as she helped me how to do research. She taught me how to do research. And I believe that today I can acknowledge thanks to her all my wins and everything that I learned in each and every single step of this journey. And of course, I used to have a lot of presumptions about the audience, and today I feel free of that emotional blockage because I can create in a different way, the modules that I offer. And of course, thanks to her, and with the market research that we did, which is very, very important. I I see myself giving more priority in to certain things in a different way, and be more focused than before.
What successes have you had since we began working together? What is your business like now?
Mona Villacres: I learn how to write emails in a sequence to my audiences. I learned how to prepare my clients to understand and to discover the products that I offer. I learned also how to sell directly on the phone or through emails and just to uplift the spirit of the people who is looking for my services so they could be feel ready to buy. This is very important because before I didn't know how to do it, I learned also how to transform and an offer just right in the moment when somebody called me like, hey, I would like to do this, but not so long for this time and before I would, I would say no, I'm sorry, it's only available for this short time or this length of time. And now it's like how many, how many sessions do you need? And I can just calculate very easily and fast and people is like, yeah, that's convenient for me before I wasn't able to do that and that's a great thing that I learned Today, thanks Brockell and all her advice and guidance. I understand that my very deep need is to teach to people who are interested to teach yoga. So with her guidlines I'm working on today in creating a yoga teacher training and transform my yoga therapy center in a yoga, in a yoga training center. So this is where I, I feel I have evolved with all this work in only three months with Brockell
