Describe what your yoga business was like before working with Brockell
Jennifer Powless: Hey, y'all, my name is Jennifer Powless and I have been a yoga teacher for about a year, so I finished my 200 and my 300 but I knew that I would not be able to do studio classes in teaching because of my schedule with my current job and my family. So I wanted to work on an online virtual business instead. I really didn't know what to do, how to do it, how to implement everything. So I was trying to just piece everything together because I didn't want to spend any more money than what I already had for my Y.T.T. Training. I was just very overwhelmed. So whenever I met with Brockell for that first consult, I loved the energy that she had and how I felt like she would be able to help me through all that and with those steps that I needed.
What has it been like to work with Brockell? What is your favorite part?
Jennifer Powless: I love working with Raquel, She has so much energy that she brings to every phone call, every message that we do over slack. She has helped to give me these steps that I could take to implement and make my own to help grow my business. I had some personal things come up during our three month mentorship and she's been great at working with me, you know, just as I'm going through things that's taking a little longer due to this issue. So she's been working with me on that. And if I had known before all this happened, then I probably wouldn't have started working with Brockell when I did, but I'm so thankful that I did because it has helped me continue to grow my business through everything or I probably would not have taken those steps and just still been overwhelmed during these three months that this has been going on.
What successes have you had since we began working together? What is your business like now?
Jennifer Powless: After working with Brockell these past three months, I feel more organized as to what needs to be done my business to make it grow to where I would like, I have more confidence in myself and my abilities that I can do this, That I can charge people for something that I do love doing anyway. And no matter where you are right now, if you are even considering like a possibility of working with Brockell, I say go for it, she is always there for me. She's like my biggest cheerleader. She has such confidence in me and that confidence that helps boost my confidence in myself as well.
