Speaker: Noah Vich, Web Development/Sales Intern, E-Industries

Introduce yourself and tell us who you are, where do you live (city and state), high school you attended and college you attend (major).

Noah Vich: Hi, my name is Noah vic. I'm from Germantown Maryland, and I attended Northwest High School in Germantown, Maryland. I am currently at Montgomery College and I'm pursuing an associates in Computer Science and Information Sciences.

Tell us what your title was during the internship and what type of projects you worked on during the internship.

Noah Vich: In the beginning, I was a web development intern and in the later months I transitioned into a sales and marketing intern as As a web development. intern, we created websites for clients um collaborating with teammates and Mr Smith. Some of the websites that I created, some of the categories were for a doctor that had a weight loss practice and a Photoshop company. And while collaborate with my teammates, we would make sure that all the requirements for the client were met and we would even have the chance to present this website to the clients and communicate with them and cure them out here their needs and fix it for them. And as a sales and marketing intern, I created a promotional video while also at the same time consulting and prospecting leads, working them through the sales process to complete the sale and gain business for E industries.

Discuss your experience working with E Industries as an intern? What did you like most about working wth the company?

Noah Vich: Working as an in at E Industries consisted of weekly checkups, weekly assignments and whatever timeline there was for client websites that was our timeline to do them. And other projects as well, like me and multiple other interns were working on a school website that was going to be developed for schools to implement and it would fix some problems that they have with their current website, such as functionality issues back and logging issues and such. What I like most working with the company though, was that I got to collaborate with other interns on these projects. I wasn't alone in most of these projects, me and fellow interns were constantly bouncing ideas off of each other and I constantly learn from them just as much as I did from Mr smith.

What advice would you give future interns in the program?

Noah Vich: For current or future E Industries interns. A piece of advice I would give you is you get out of the program What you put in. If you put in the time and the effort, you will learn new skills not only in web development but in sales, marketing, business ethics, etc. Also I would encourage you to communicate with Mr smith as much as you can. He is very resourceful and generous with his time and experience. I remember in the beginning of the E Industries internship program when I started in October of 2021 this is around the time that seniors do their college applications and Mr. Smith sent us a 50 page document with a bunch of scholarships that we could apply to solely out of generosity. This is not a part of the internship program but he just provided it with us because he felt as if it would help us. This is just one example of the many ways that being an intern at E Industries can open up doors for you.

Would you recommend others to participate in the National Virtual Internship Program and if so, why?

Noah Vich: I recommend that others participate in the Nationals Virtual Internship Program at E Industries. Not only will you gain skills, but you will gain experience any career field related to the internship program that employers look for in candidates.
