Speaker: Sean Strange, Partner Marketing Manager (Adobe)
When and why did you join EIMS?
Sean Strange: Hi, my name's Sean. I am one of the Partner Marketing Managers here at EIMS. I've been working here now for around 11 years. When I first started at EIMS I essentially was looking for something new, something challenging, something I hadn't done before. I came across EIMS. They were into sales and marketing around the IT sector. I didn't have experience. In fact I didn't really know too much about IT at all when I first started. However with the help of EIMS, they were able to train me up relatively quickly. I managed to expand my knowledge and just kind of grew within the company. Started off doing lead generation, then went into more of an inside sales role. I then switched over to our client satisfaction team where we went into our clients and find out a bit about what makes them happy and what things we could be improving on. From there I've taken a step into the partner marketing management side and I've been doing that for the last 3.5 years now.
What is your role and what do you love about it?
Sean Strange: So my role here at EIMS is a partner marketing manager. I work for one of our clients which is Adobe. I've been doing that for around 3.5 years now. I really love the role, it's very challenging but in a fun way, it's the most challenging role that I've had in the last 11 years since joining the company. My role as a partner marketing manager is essentially to support Adobe's partners with marketing funds every quarter and understand the best way in which we can generate a return using those funds for the client. It's an extremely fun role but definitely one of the more challenging ones since I've been here. I'm really enjoying it and been doing that now for about 3.5 years.
What are you most proud of?
Sean Strange: What I'm really proud of working at EIMS is well there are couple of things; the culture is incredible here, people to work with, It's a great atmosphere. The training they provide you at EIMS is great. It really allows you to expand your knowledge and really challenge what you know about the IT industry. When I first joined, I didn't really know too much at all about the IT world. As the years kind of went on my knowledge just grew and grew and grew. I wouldn't work for any other industry now. I'm really happy with what I do and I'm still learning today. That's what I think is the best thing or what I'm most proud of working in EIMS. Is just how quickly they can build your knowledge and allow you to grow and develop.
What stands out to you about the culture at EIMS?
Sean Strange: What stands out to me about the culture at EIMS is it's not just work work work work work, it's a great atmosphere. You've got amazing people that work for the company. So here at EIMS at the end of a long week the team get together. Really that culture and that socializing is also there. You meet some great people and made some amazing friends over the years and it's just a great place to work. I was so lucky to stumble across it when I did and I'm so pleased people I've met over the years to do other things. We've stayed in touch and I think as a testament to EIMS. The bonds that you create with people. It's not just somewhere you come to work, it's somewhere you meet new people, make new friends and it's a great environment!
