Video Transcript

Speaker: Solii Mbu, Graphic Designer / Web Developer

Introduce yourself and tell us who you are, where do you live (city and state), high school you attended and college you attend (major).

Solii Mbu: Hello Interns! My name is Solii. I'm currently an undergraduate and at Montgomery College, I major in Computer Science, in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Tell us what your title was during the internship and what type of projects you worked on during the internship.

Solii Mbu: My title during the internship was both Graphic Design and Web development. I would make the logos for the company to put on merchandise and build websites for the clients that are in need of a website for their company as well.

Discuss your experience working with E Industries as an intern. What did you like most about working wth the company?

Solii Mbu: My experience working with the industries as an intern was really great, despite the fact that it was online. For me, I still really felt the connection with Mr. Smith and with the other interns that were working with me as we were discussing plans on how we build with the websites and for the clients and how we can build together with the company as a whole.

What advice would you give future interns in the program?

Solii Mbu: Just to the future interns is to get work done on time as soon as possible and give it your best work because if you do it last minute it will be rushed but it won't be your best. It's never it's it doesn't hurt to ask for help or assistance with anything and you only learn and grow from there as you move forward.

Would you recommend others to participate in the National Virtual Internship Program and if so, why?

Solii Mbu: It really depends to you me personally I really I really recommend it.
