Speaker: Damon Moon
How has the community at EdTech Week by StartEd helped you?
Damon Moon: Hello, my name is Damon Moon and I'm the CEO and co-founder of Ask class. The Ed Tech Week was tremendously helpful for me, especially as a founder. Uh just getting to know people and networking with them was really big advantage. And I I had a chance to meet with a lot of mentors that provided a lot of practical advice for the next steps of the company. And those conversations really clarified the the next steps and the direction of the company. I really also appreciated the design of the conference. Uh It was compact and intimate. So I spent more time talking than walking. I think that was one of the best parts and also the types of people that this tech we gathers is, is a very unique, unique audience. It's a unique audience that combines the humility and the willpower as John Gamba said in his talk. So it was really one of the best investments I had uh in terms of conferences.
How would you describe EdTech Week by StartEd in three words?
Damon Moon: If I were to describe at tech week, in three words, it would be purpose driven, community, purpose driven community.
Why is EdTech Week by StartEd different from other communities and gatherings?
Damon Moon: The number one thing that makes star dead stand out from the other communities and gatherings is that uh the people that gather at the Ed Tech Week, there is a willingness to help each other, whether it's among the founders or uh with the conversations with the mentors or just someone that I met randomly uh at, at a registration desk or, or, or at the pitch competition. Just a willingness to help is just unmatched.
