Speaker: Mikael Cohen, MD, PhD, Centre Hospitalier Universitaire in Nice, France
What key insights will you be sharing in your session and why is this important?
Mikael Cohen: The session will speak about radiologically isolated syndrome (RIS), which is very important because it brings us to the very earliest phases of MS and the main question will be whether RIS should be integrated in the MS spectrum as is asymptomatic MS or not, and then, if yes, how the patients should be managed.
Why is ECTRIMS 2024 a must-attend event for the MS and neurological research community?
Mikael Cohen: Coming to ECTRIMS is always very exciting, as it is one of the most important MS related congresses worldwide. And this year, of course, we have a lot of expectations, for example, about the update of the MS diagnostic criteria, so I hope you will join us there.
