What is one specific way Detra’s coaching, podcast, or message changed the way you think or approach your life or goals?

Nicole Dykes: Hi, my name's Nicole, and I wanted to share one way this podcast, Teacher's podcast has changed the way I think or set goals for myself is by thinking big. Sometimes we get into our heads about ideas that we may have and you think, maybe I'll do it today, or when you get into your head, maybe, is this something? They're gonna like what I do, or you think about. What other people think instead of. What do you think and what goals that you're setting for yourself? Thinking you can think big all day long. And not execute it. You can think big and do nothing about it. You can think about. Your health. And not make changes to do better, instead of just sitting there and doing nothing. So, listening to her podcast has helped me to set goals. One example is my health journey. I can sit all day and say, Oh, I'm gonna start next week. I'll go to the gym tomorrow. When tomorrow comes, it's a different story. And push it to the side. But she's taught me to get up, get out of your head, write your goals down, set your goals, do whatever you need to do to achieve whatever it is that you need to do to do better. Think big, don't doubt yourself. Pray, let go, and once you make the decision, let God lead you.

Share a moment when something Detra said inspired you to take action, trust your next step, or see an opportunity you hadn't noticed before.

Nicole Dykes: I think it was one episode that really, really stuck in my head with this podcast. It was either episode 3 or episode 4 where. Where she spoke about settling. And she broke it down. Saying like the S where S meant staying where it's safe. Sometimes we just stay where it's safe. Making excuses. We think small, losing yourself of urgency and existing, and we slow our own growth. Instead of evolving and not growing, so you have to, this really, really. Had me thinking about me personally, where sometimes you just settle in a job where you're better than, but because you've been there for so many years, you're just going to settle and stay. But you're better, you're more educated or you have more experience, but because you've just, you just feel stuck. And this has taught me to, for example, hey, get out and see what else is out there. Make better moves, make better decisions. Don't just settle. Because you're you're. In something where you can come out, you just got to put 1 ft forward and keep moving, keep pushing, and don't settle, put you first. And do the best you can because you're better than what you think you are. Dingfei

If someone was considering working with Detra or following the I See Fishes Framework, what would you tell them?

Nicole Dykes: If someone is considering working with Deirdre, Having her as your coach, I say, do it. Do it, do it, do it. I'm truly blessed and thankful that I had the opportunity to work, work with her. She's helped me a lot. With my confidence, the job that I do, I have to do a lot of meetings and sometimes I just get in my head and literally I would cancel a meeting because I would think, Oh my God, I'm not ready, or I don't want, I wonder what they would think. I don't want to mess it up. And I would rewrite this meeting 34 times, but now she's built my confidence. I know what I'm capable of. I just go ahead on and I've I've learned to get my spiritual life, just organize my life. In every aspect, mentally, emotionally and physically. And I'm really, really, really thankful for her and this platform. Also, I read her book. If you haven't read it, read it, go buy it. It's called The Mindset of May I see Fishes, and it's on Amazon. But I am really, really, really thankful that I have this opportunity. To have her as my coach. So You don't know what you guys are missing out. You don't know what you guys are missing out, but, she's a blessing. She's an amazing woman. She's helped me a lot and I'm really, really thankful. So I just want to let everybody know. I just want everybody to know, Get online, get with her and I'm really thankful.
