Marian: Hello, my name is Marian and I live in Essex in the UK.
Before starting Draw Awesome, what was your level of art experience and what did you struggle with?
Marian: Before I started the course, of Draw Awesome, I was very much an amateur. I had previously no actual formal art training. I loved to draw, but I had very little idea about how to actually tackle various subjects and various media.
How do you think Draw Awesome has helped you and would you recommend it?
Marian: Draw Awesome has certainly helped me in developing my artistic skills. I've used media I would never, ever have entertained before and I found that I can actually draw now with Phil's help on these courses. For the first time, I have enjoyed using charcoal, something I would never have entertained before. I'm using water colours with a good deal more confidence. I love what I'm doing. I find the courses engaging, exciting and demanding. And although some of them I have, you know, there are some that I haven't enjoyed as much as I have others, but I've had a great time following this course through and I really believe that my skills have been honed. I love creating art.
