Dianne : Hi this is Dianne in Tasmania Australia.
Can we see some of the artwork you've produced with Draw Awesome?
Dianne : I'll just show you some of my artwork from the Draw Awesome projects. One of my favourites was that garlic. That was really enjoyable. I love working with pencil... ...the eyes. That was fun and I really enjoyed that. I hope you can see that and I love working with charcoal. I hadn't done that for ages. The sunflower was really, really cool. It was a lot of fun. Hope you got a bit of light there. Yeah, really enjoying it - loving it actually.
What are the things you've struggled with most in your art?
Dianne : I've been seriously drawing for the last sort of 15, 20 years, but I mainly struggle with actually doing art regularly. It's my main and probably proportions and things like that. The finer parts of the artwork. But yeah.
What are some of the things you like about Draw Awesome?
Dianne : Yeah, I think the whole Draw Awesome Course is - I've got notes here - I'm sort of making me focus more and established a routine for drawing and I get really excited about the next projects and I love sharing it with my other artist friends and they love seeing all the new work. Yeah it's just really - and I love sharing it. It's just a really exciting thing to do and just getting just getting prompts. Yeah, it's fabulous. Yeah. Absolutely. Love it. Love it.
So would you recommend the Course to others?
Dianne : Some of the things about - all the great things about Draw Awesome... It makes you try new things, the things you wouldn't have thought you'd want to try. And well, I like charcoal. Yes, you know, pencils, it just takes you out of your comfort zone and it's just really great. And you get really good feedback and great help from the site. I highly recommend it. Just absolutely - it's very worthwhile. It's fabulous.
