Can we see an example of the art work you've produced with Draw Awesome?
Elaine : This is one of my paintings from the Pastel Pencil Module... ...and I've never done pastel pencil before. I've never done portraits before and it was so exciting to be able to do this. I've loved it.
Before starting Draw Awesome, what techniques did you struggle with?
Elaine : I've been painting for about 10 years - - watercolour mostly - and I joined art tutor about four years ago and really learned a lot. And I've always struggled with confidence and being a little afraid to try different things.
How do you think Draw Awesome has helped you?
Elaine : Draw Awesome has helped me a lot. Just the level of help that Phil gives you. The way he describes things makes it so easy to learn as well as everybody else on the site is so encouraging and there's wonderful feedback to what they're doing.
So, would you recommend Draw Awesome to others?
Elaine : I've liked about Draw Awesome the confidence that I've gotten. I've liked all the different kinds of subjects that Phil covers. I've found that I'm now more able to step out of my comfort zone and do things that I never thought I could do and really have them turn out okay. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone, no matter your level of art experience. You can have no experience at all and Phil will take you through right from the beginning, learning what to do and how to do it. Yes, I recommend it.
