Christine : Hello, my name is Christine and I live in South-East England.
Can we see some of your Draw Awesome artwork that you're most pleased with?
Christine : I really wasn't sure about using coloured pencils and I never thought I would be able to draw a group of vegetables! But I can and I'm so surprised that my mushroom looks like a mushroom. My pepper looks like a pepper. I'm going to show you another drawing that I did, and this was the hand study. And I was so surprised when these turned out to actually look like hands. I was so pleased!
Before starting Draw Awesome, what was your level of art experience and what did you struggle with?
Christine : I always wanted to learn to draw and tried many times, and although I managed to do a bit, it was never good enough and I really wanted to make progress.
How do you think Draw Awesome has helped you?
Christine : I've really enjoyed taking part in the Course. The level of tuition has been fantastic! But the encouragement from others in the Group, who are sometimes struggling in the same way as I am, has been so helpful. I think I've made a lot of progress and I always look forward to the new projects that are coming out.
So what are some of the things you like most about Draw Awseome and would you recommend it to others?
Christine : Draw Awesome has given me the confidence to tackle things that I would never have considered and I'm having some successes. One of the best things is the - not only the quality of the instruction - but the encouragement that you get from everybody else who's taking part. I would thoroughly recommend Draw Awesome.
