Charlotte : Hi I'm Charlotte and I'm living in Portugal.
Can you show us some of the work that you've done with Draw Awesome?
Charlotte : This is my latest, just finished today. I'm very happy with doing this with the pencils because I never really knew how to use the pencils. So now this is this one and now I show you last weeks - and this is last weeks, which I am quite pleased with as well.
Why did you choose to join the Draw Awesome Course?
Charlotte : When I started the course now the Draw Awesome Course, I had already done a few of the old Phil Davies and Bob Davies courses. And that was my - all my art I did - which is about 6 or 7 years now. And I just felt I needed a bit - - a bit of a brush-up in doing things a bit more correct. So that's why I started it.
In what areas do you think you have improved since you started the Course?
Charlotte : I think I have improved an awful lot since I'm doing these Courses. Especially, I think I see more clearly what's on the paper or on the photo I'm drawing from. I can recognize the shapes much better. I can recognize the darks and brights much better. And over hand I'm more confident.
What do you like most about the Course and would you recommend it to others?
Charlotte : I do like the ... step to step explanations that Phil explains how to do it. I also like that now, gradually, we are getting away from only following his instructions and we are left to do some of the - - of the parts ourselves. I also like the versatility of it. All the different mediums and different papers and all the extra explanations that we're getting. And I'm sure I would recommend it to anybody who wants to get a bit further in there or even begin with art.
