Charles Muhlbauer: Self actualization is at the top of the Maslow's hierarchy of needs pyramid. Although not unique to sales. It is crucial as a sales professional to feel that you are actualizing your best self and selling in your own voice, of course, based on your experience and your intellectual curiosity and that you are at an organization that empowers you to be your best self. Should you be in a position where you feel that leadership is hampering on your ability to be your best self, you have two options. You discuss it with leadership and tell them how you feel and of course, the in a in a thoughtful way, and if that is not an option, then... It is crucial to be in an environment where you can actualize your best self.
