Speaker: John D Fontenot

What problems were you facing before working with us?

John D Fontenot: Yes, this is John from Louisiana. Uh, I used uh, dirt legal because, uh, of all the problems I was gonna have with the DMV and, uh, that was gonna take probably a year to get this, uh, motorcycle, uh, titled. So, um, it's a 1974 triumph, uh, 750 it, what I was looking into was gonna take, uh, a great amount of time and effort, especially in this state. The DMV here is just, uh, awful. So I used dirt legal.

How come you chose Dirt Legal?

John D Fontenot: This is John from Louisiana uh regarding the triumph, a 1974 motorcycle. Uh, the reason I chose dirt legal. Um, at first I was skeptical and I did a little checking and uh made a few phone calls and asked a few people asked around. I said yes, this is the real deal. So I uh I, I went ahead and looked into it and just had every question answered, uh, that was needed. Um, they were quick responsive and they, they gave plenty of emails and texts back and forth and uh it, it made it a lot easier to deal with. So I just went on the site, filled out the information they said to do and they actually emailed me uh directions uh also to follow and uh just follow the directions. I did everything online. Um I had to have a notary to notarize something I did that by uh I think it's notarized.com, I believe. Um, you can do that online with a notary. You come on the screen, they, they do the thing with you, you sign it, they stamp it, they send it to you. You pay, it was like 25 bucks did that got the paper and information back to dirt legal. And that was pretty much it. I was expecting to wait a month and within a couple of weeks they were already re respond a week. There was no, actually three days after they were, were responding to me saying we've got the information going where it needs to go. And I was like, I can't believe this. So it went through a lot quicker than usual and, uh, then I just had to wait probably a week or so or two to get the plates done. Uh, so, but they, they sent me a temporary plate so I could ride the bike until then I didn't ask for that, but they did that anyway and, uh, appreciate that. Um, so definitely do it because you're gonna be sitting there waiting a long time trying to get a title for something that's in my case, an older motorcycle. Um, and I deal with lots of different motorcycles. Um, so do it.

How are you using your vehicle now?

John D Fontenot: This is John from Louisiana again for dirt legal. Um I used dirt legal. Um, it was a very good benefit to, to go around having to go to the DMV. Um, what I'm doing with the, the bike right now. It's a, it's a 1974 tri uh Bonneville 750. Uh it's pretty stock. Um, basically just a rider. I, I purchased the, the bike from a, a AAA fellow rider that was actually a part, part racer, uh and builder and he had built the bike from parts, um from some uh younger guys and he, they couldn't finish paying for the bike to be built. So he sold it to, he sold it out. So I bought it and then I realized that, you know, of course, it didn't have the title with it, but the numbers matched the frame and the uh, the engine which is good. They don't always have to match, they don't always match, but that's fine. It made things a lot easier I believe. Then I got with dirt legal and got everything done with the title um, through uh the Montana LLC. Uh it's an uh asset holding, uh LLC, it's not a money making LLC. So what it does, it just holds vehicles or other things, uh, under your name. Uh, you own the LLC and then it's, uh, titled through the LLC. Um, they'll explain all of that on their website and you can call at any time to ask, they'll, they'll answer any questions you have about that, anything particular. And, uh, the way I'm using the bike now is, uh, pretty much a couple of times during the week riding to work. And of course in the weekends, uh, I have other bikes. Uh, I do build bikes, uh, especially vintage bikes. Uh, so, uh, the dirt legal, I will be calling you again because I have a few other bikes to deal with. Um, so that's what I'm doing with the bike and I'm gonna have some videos coming, uh, of the bike and a few interesting things about the build. Uh, I'll share that on dirt legal if I can soon. Uh Thanks.
