Poppy Macleod, from Versus Arthritis, shares her feedback on how the Digital Marketing Hub has helped her improve her marketing by focusing on her audience better.

Tell us about your business, organisation or club

Poppy Macleod: Hi, My name is Poppy. I'm the physical activity digital producer At the charity Versus Arthritis, I produce the Let's Move Digital campaign, which is funded by Sport England, with the aim of encouraging people living with arthritis to become more physically active.

What problem were you dealing with before joining the DMH?

Poppy Macleod: I think the main challenge that I was dealing with before joining the Digital Marketing Hub was the sheer vastness of the audience that I was trying to appeal to with the Let's Move campaign and the content that I was creating.

How did the DMH help resolve this challenge?

Poppy Macleod: I think the main way that the Digital Marketing Hub helped me to resolve this challenge was through the variety of expertise and resources that are available on the digital marketing hub itself. So it's kind of an ongoing learning process, really. And you have access to so many webinars, so many experts, um, and also to the other participants who you can talk to who might be going through similar situations.

What results did you get?

Poppy Macleod: I think the main results that I've seen so far are in relation to content planning and streamlining the marketing planning in particular when it comes to designing new content and really being clear around, um, which audience I'm prioritising with a new piece of content and how we're going to reach that audience. So it's going to remain to be seen
