Meryl Czeponis: To me, democracy is my voice in our political system and a healthy democracy is so important because it's the amplification of that voice.
Tell us your democracy story. How does it impact your life or issues you care about? How do you show up for our democracy?
Meryl Czeponis: My story of democracy is growing up knowing what the world is. But more importantly, understanding what the world can be. The impact of democracy is all around us in policy, voting, social issues and the voices of others. I participate in democracy by advocating for my beliefs.
