What was the main challenge you needed to overcome with Devinium ?
Boris Desmond: Hi. The main challenge we had to overcome when we hired Devinium was we had a system that we managed purely in Excel and it was just reaching its limits. So we reached out to them because we needed to build a complete system from scratch that would work with our own IP and build software to handle our data and take our company to the next level.
Could you describe a time that Devinium helped your business, including any metrics that come to mind?
Boris Desmond: When Devinium came to work with us, we had a system that needed to be synchronized anytime we changed the data. Synchronization was extremely slow. So it would take upwards of five minutes to synchronize data between our server and our field devices. Devinium came to work on this with us and completely re-built the sync engine, bringing the synchronization down to just a few seconds.
What has been the most significant impact of working with Devinium?
Boris Desmond: At the end of the day, the biggest impact that Devinium has had for us is we really found a team in which we could trust the people to work with us through the challenges of building new systems and improving our data management, both on the front end and the back end. They've been fantastic, very adaptable and we've been working with them for years now.
