Please explain why you find it important to vaccinate your child/children.
Alexa Diaz: Hi, my name is Alexa. And today I'm gonna be talking about why I find it important to vaccinate my child. So my child is about nine months old and it's super important for him to get his vaccines and be up to date because it helps build his immune system and protect him from any fatal diseases. As well as when, you know, it gets cold and COVID and all of that stuff, he'll be protected or even if he, you know, does happen to catch anything, his body will be able to fight it off better. Vaccinating. Your Children is super, super important because it helps protect them, build their immune system, fight off any fatal diseases as well as, you know, make them bounce back faster versus somebody who were to be vaccinated.
Why should parents and caregivers feel comfortable taking their children to get vaccinated?
Alexa Diaz: So why should parents and caregivers feel comfortable taking their child or Children to get vaccinated? Everyone should feel comfortable getting vaccinated, taking their child a loved one, family member, whoever to get vaccinated because it helps keep them healthy, vaccinations, help keep people and communities healthy and safe. It is not a harmful thing to get vaccinated. It's actually very important and very just like incentivizing to your body to be taking care of yourself and everyone around you. It's not a scary process. Yes, it may hurt but shots are super important at keeping everyone alive and safe and healthy as well as making sure that we're just, you know, taking care of ourselves.
Who or what motivates you to vaccinate your child/children?
Alexa Diaz: What motivates me to get my child vaccinated is every time I go to the doctors and I bring everything up, the doctors always break down the shots to me and give me a sheet of information and make me feel comfortable knowing that I'm making the right choice for my son. Also, I always want to feel good in my parenting style that I am doing everything that I can to keep my baby safe. Even even that means that I have to give him a shot or multiple, that's fine by me. I want him to be safe. I want others to be safe around him as well as also letting him be able to attend school and daycare without those shots. He wouldn't be able to do those things. So that's what really keeps me going and just, you know, making sure my son is healthy and fine. That's why I love letting him get vaccinations.
