A day in the life of a Trainer - Stephanie Askew

Stephanie Askew: Hello. My name is Stephanie Askew and I'm with learning and development department here at Conduent and I've been here for a little over seven years going on eight years.

Stephanie Askew: Well, I train agents with specialized skill sets. I work within the learning development department to help teach and create games that we can play to also help them master and flourish and learn and gain understanding to the information that I'm teaching. I also work alongside with leadership so that we can ensure that we're on the same page with making sure that they're learning everything that they need to learn and that we're on the same page with what is needed within the mastering the information and also to just to ensure that we're having fun and that they know that they're well supported. Also just making sure that we have the best agents that we can possibly produce from the learning and development department.

Stephanie Askew: Well, I do help many people throughout the day. If I'm in a training class, then I've had training classes from as little as two people within my training class or a session um to as many as 40 people in my class um while I'm training them on their specialized skill set or if it's a refresher type of training, um I'll also work alongside with leadership so that we can make sure that we're producing quality agents for our customers. Also just making sure that um they learn everything that they need to learn. So throughout the day, I'm po I'm always trying to be as creative as I possibly can in order to create ways to make it fun to learn the information so that it's just not information after information after information. So there's a lot within the day that we do here at the learning and development department um to hone in and make sure that it's a lot better for our agents in order for them to learn the information.
