Speaker: Brandt Martinez, Enterprise Growth Account Executive, Databricks

Please introduce yourself and your role.

Brandt Martinez: Hello, I'm Brian Martinez and I'm a growth account executive here at Data Bricks.

What are the biggest challenges you face in your role?

Brandt Martinez: I think the biggest challenge that we face in this role is identifying the users uh within our accounts specifically whenever they are on an Azure cloud based service.

How has Databook helped you overcome those challenges?

Brandt Martinez: Data book helps with these challenges by allowing me to be able to look into the strategic priorities of my accounts and be able to use those in order to have better messaging when reaching out to possible users of the data bricks platform.

In what specific situations do you find Databook to be most useful?

Brandt Martinez: I find data book to be most useful, especially in account planning. Uh very good for being able to look up what the strategic priorities are of an account, understand what the data uh projects are that are coming up within the account as well as uh preparing for any director and above level meetings.

Can you share an example of how Databook helped close or progress a deal with a specific customer?

Brandt Martinez: My role doesn't necessarily uh close commits. But as far as growing consumption within the account data book helped me by being able to look into one of my accounts, understand. Um and allowing me to create a hypothesis uh which I was able to then um confirm within the contact that I had within my account. Uh all from the information that I found at data book.

What measurable results has Databook helped you achieve?

Brandt Martinez: I think data book really closes the time gap on having to go out and do external research. Uh It really allows you to find all your information in one place which then allows you to be able to reach out to your customer or account uh on a much faster basis. And as we all know in sales, uh time close kills all deals. So I think this really helps close that time gap.

Anything else you'd like to add?

Brandt Martinez: I think no access to data book, uh would mean that I'd have to spend a lot of time doing the external research on my accounts and uh really digging into certain reports that maybe we don't want to read, uh that we can find at a high level or summarized within data book.
