What business challenge(s) was your company looking to solve prior to using CycleWerx Marketing?
Shane Bender: So first of all, I was needing some help just simply getting leads, having a better website, making sure that the use of my time for business development was used more wisely through LinkedIn. Also, just email management, sending out emails, following up, all of my business development tasks. So there was just some challenges I was having. I was doing that in a way that was not extremely efficient. So, overall, I was just trying to get my name out there, make sure people knew what I was doing, why I was doing it, and ultimately get leads and qualified leads and opportunities to kind of get in front of these prospects and ultimately get new clients.
How has that situation changed or improved with CycleWerx?
Shane Bender: I will say it took some time, but my website is so much better. I've gotten some improved SEO Certain search terms such as CFO for marketing agencies or fractional CFO for marketing agencies, we decided to niche it a little bit more. And if you do a search for that, it'll come up much higher SEO. Just made my different blog pages, optimized different pages on my website. So that's just that portion of it. Then, there was this LinkedIn management improvement. Just being able to take that information and put it in HubSpot. A lot of work in HubSpot basically that became my CRM where leads go in. I could set tasks, business development task with new sequences for emails. My blog sending out emails on that. HubSpot is so great with giving better information about whether people are opening emails or any kind of activity happening with leads and clients and prospects, so just more organization around that. Everything is interrelated between the website and HubSpot and business development. So just a lot of improvements there, and it's translated into new business ultimately over time through different ways. People coming and finding my website for SEO, through LinkedIn, just reaching out to people, having a better system reaching out and following up. I found that my marketing and my business development, all of my sales, marketing sales together has improved through what CycleWerx has helped me do.
Can you encapsulate what CycleWerx has meant to your company?
Shane Bender: I think of CycleWerx as just part of my team. Marketing and sales are important ongoing. They are helping me make improvements all along. Our latest improvement is just to be able to save time and how we're doing emails and using sequences; they set up a really great process for that. They're always trying to think of ways to get my name out, and they're just part of my team, and that meant a lot to my company. Like I said before, I've got new business. I feel like there's an ongoing opportunity for new business and just a great help to our organization to get the name out, get our purpose of what we do and CFO services, explaining what we do and just allowing us to have an opportunity to meet new business owners so that we can help them.
