Preston Ritter: I'm excited to discuss how my team has built engaging experiences that our advocates have found value in, while also integrating those experiences into Cisco's greater marketing strategies and plans.
What is your best piece of customer marketing advice?
Preston Ritter: With customer marketing being a relatively new function within marketing, my big piece of advice is to get outside of the four walls of marketing and connect with as many sales, customer experience and success, and operations teams as possible, and find ways to connect your scope of work with theirs. This way, you'll have allies whenever you're building out and scaling your programs, as well as sounding boards that will provide additional insights or even points of validation about your customers that you may not have had before.
