Amanda Hershberger - Your Experience as A Cross Shield Team Member

Amanda Hershberger: The thing that I enjoy most about being part of the cross shield team is definitely the people. Every single person on our team is completely on board with our mission to change the lives of our entire world with their finances and allowing everybody to use those talents to create that change. It's just so incredible and wonderful to be part of. There's so much momentum involved because everybody's so passionate about what they do that it only creates more momentum in yourself and just makes you a better person overall so that you can have an even larger impact in the world around you.

Amanda Hershberger: Working at Cross Shield has helped me grow both professionally and personally, in so many ways that I would have never been able to do on my own. I always knew that I wanted to help others in their finances. It's just a place that I always knew well and I was good at and I enjoyed doing it. But, doing it on my own, I wouldn't have created nearly as large of an impact as I would here because I get to grow so much professionally and personally. Here we require everybody to be coached by somebody and that's so critical because I always tell my clients, if you're not growing, you're dying. And, I feel like it's the same way with ourselves if we're not continually evaluating ourselves and allowing somebody else in our lives to evaluate us and see where we're at and let us, know where we can improve and allow that type of person to have a say in our life. We won't grow as quickly as we want to because I want to create the most practice I can in as many lives as I can. And the only way I can do that and do it well and do it in as large of a scale as I want to, is to do that as part of a team because I'm not the answer for everybody, but there's somebody on our team that is and learning from them and growing and just absorbing everything that I can, just creates that environment here. And I'm so thankful for it.

Amanda Hershberger: I know when talking about a specific story, you know, there's, there's tangibles. There, there's something that you can grasp on to and say we did this. We made this impact and all that is incredible. Especially for me, my background's in accounting. So I live in the tangibles. I live in the numbers. But you know, the most specific success stories I always see are when we've created an entire lifestyle shift when we've taught someone. And I've seen this in several of my clients where their entire, way they see money and the way their family sees money is now completely transformed, the way they talk to their children about money, the way they talk to their children period about money is different. Their, their children actually are starting to learn things about money, which you know, we had a whole generation that there wasn't a whole lot spoken about money. And now we're creating a completely different environment where the whole household is involved and no in whatever part of their journey is, and they get to participate in that and they get to see the joy in that and they get to see the hard work that is involved in their children learned so much by watching what their parents do and watching that change happen and getting pictures of families as they create their visions and their goals and their dreams and watching them happen in real time. That's indescribable. It is, it is the kind of impact that I wanted to make and it's the kind of impact I get to make. And I am so honored and blessed to be a part of their lives. And to say I got to help them change their lives forever in the best way possible. And hopefully that will continue on through the generations. So, as much as I'd love to give a specific success story, the ones I'm most proud of are those specific moments when I see that intangible of their lives are gonna be changed forever. They now see money completely differently and they're gonna, be wealthy and that's wonderful. But the biggest impact is they're gonna get to give like crazy. They're gonna get to invest in their children. Their grandchildren are gonna know their name, they're completely changing their story. And that's something I just, can't put a price tag on and to be a part of that, I'm just so completely blessed and honored and thankful to be a part of that.
