How did you hear about CPA Credits? What made you choose CPA Credits?

Ehsan Al Ajlouni: In the beginning when I passed my CPA exam, I was looking to get licensed by the state board. And unfortunately, I had only 132 hours and I needed 150 hours so that I can get my license. So I was searching all over the internet about master degrees programs so that I can join in order to get the 18 hours missing.

If you took advantage of our transcript evaluation service and/or spoke to an advisor, please describe that experience.

Ehsan Al Ajlouni: In the beginning, I shared my transcript evaluation service with one of the instructors in the CPA Credits. We discussed the details and he was recommending for me courses so that I can complete my requirement for the board. I do remember that we, I discussed with him that I don't have, for example, accounting ethics as part of my transcript. And he recommended that I, I take ethics as part of my CPA credits in order to complete the 150 hours. And I was thankful for him because eventually the board has asked me if I took three hours of ethics and it was there in my transcript after completing the CPA credit hours.

How many courses did you take? Can you describe what the educational experience was like?

Ehsan Al Ajlouni: I took around six courses. Each course was three credit hours. I enjoyed the online courses and we definitely recommend it to anyone. The course was really well organized and the material was presented perfectly. Uh I like the fact that I interacted with other students and the instructor with discussion boards and the discussion papers and all these things. It was very great. It was easy for me to follow because I am a, I have a job. I'm working full time from 8 to 6. So it was easy for me and the time was enough to finish everything on time and deliver my tasks. I learned a lot of topics and I did not feel overloaded and this is what I was I was looking for. So I was very, very happy with the courses that I took.

What state board did you apply for your CPA through?

Ehsan Al Ajlouni: My state board was in New Hampshire and I applied for the CPA license and thankfully I have it since more than one year after completing my 150 hours, the remaining 18 that I did not have, I am part of now. I have a license with State of New Hampshire.

How would you describe CPA Credits in three words?

Ehsan Al Ajlouni: For me, I think it was enjoyable experience, it was helpful experience and I do believe it was affordable experience also.

What were you doing before pursuing your CPA and what are you doing today?

Ehsan Al Ajlouni: Before pursuing my CPA, I was a full time auditor, external auditor in one of the big four firms. And currently I continued my career in the same field which is like auditing, external auditing. And yeah, the CPA has changed my life and in the career. I was promoted to levels that I did not dream of reaching these levels.
