How did you hear about CPA Credits? What made you choose CPA Credits?

Connor Nolan McVey: So I first discovered CpaCredits.com through a meeting with my advisor during my internship on how I was going to reach 150 credits to be eligible for the CPA license. And once I did a little bit of research behind it saw how time effective it was and cost effective it was, I decided to go through with it. And it's been one of the best decisions I made so far on my journey to become a CPA.

How many courses did you take? Can you describe what the educational experience was like?

Connor Nolan McVey: I took two courses through CpaCredits.com They were both self paced, which means they had a lot of flexibility. I didn't feel like I had any major deadlines coming up. It wasn't putting too much stress or pressure on me, especially since I feel like I have a million things going on. It was nice to have a class. I wasn't forcing deadlines on you and you can take your time as you go through these courses.

If you took advantage of our transcript evaluation service and/or spoke to an advisor, please describe that experience.

Connor Nolan McVey: After talking to the advisor at CpaCredits.com I felt a huge weight lifted over my shoulders. First, we went over my transcript to see what I still needed in order to be eligible for a CPA license. And then we discuss the next steps I needed to take in order for me to achieve my goal of getting to 150 credits.

What state board have you already applied through or are you planning to apply through?

Connor Nolan McVey: I applied through the Florida State Board which requires 30 upper level accounting classes. And when I graduated with my bachelor's in accounting, I only had 24. So CpaCredits.com was a great way to help me get those six extra credits. I needed to be eligible in my state.

What were you doing before pursuing your CPA and what are you doing today?

Connor Nolan McVey: Before I was pursuing my CPA, I was just an average accounting student. After I graduated undergrad, I started with CpaCredits.com in order to get to 150. So as of today, I am only one exam down which is BEC. I'm taking audit in two weeks and waiting to start work in January, for one of the big four in Tampa.

How would you describe CPA Credits in three words?

Connor Nolan McVey: If I could describe CpaCredits.com in three words, it would be affordable, efficient and effective.
