What do you hope teachers will take away from this course?
Susanne Leslie: Hi, I'm Susanne and I just recently updated course 731: Mindsets Matter with a new edition of the course textbook. This is the third edition and our third update to the course. The course has been very popular with educators. It is perennial. The main goal of this new update is we remove the things that are outdated and that are no longer serving educators. We've updated it with the newest information about how to encourage a growth mindset in our students and in ourselves.
What do you love about this course?
Susanne Leslie: What we love about this course is that it is encouraging and teaches teachers how to nurture growth mindsets in their students. And one of the ways to do that, or I should say, many of the ways to do that are through productive, struggle, through failure, through mistake making and through resiliency. So, the course will walk you right through how to rely on those strategies, what they mean for students. And it's a very encouraging course with a warm voice and it encourages a growth mindset, not only for students but for educators as well.
