What do you hope teachers will take away from this course?
Betsy Butler: Hi, I'm Betsy. I'm the course creator for course 5850 PBIS 101. I think that teachers are really going to get a sense of the framework of PBIS in the four different stages of it. They'll talk about data analysis, different kinds of interventions and other strategies that you can use in order to make sure students feel supported in their behavior choices and also the impact it has on an entire school.
What do you love about this course?
Betsy Butler: I think what teachers will love about this course is that it gives them pretty much everything they need to get started with and support PBIS there's great ideas of how to be a coach for PBIS and also some other ways that staff can be supportive of students and about the whole framework and the positivity that is needed in order to support students and their behavior. I think this is going to be a great course for anyone who's looking for a system wide framework to apply for behavior management.
