Julie Kuntz: Hi, my name is Julie Kuntz and I am one of the curriculum designers at teaching channel. I am very excited to talk to you about one of our new courses. 5348: An Educator's Guide to Navigating Cell Phone Use in School. I hope that teachers take away from this course information about both perspectives and both sides on the cell phone in schools debate. Whether you have a cell phone policy in place at your school already or you're considering developing one or there's none in sight and you don't know how to navigate things in the meantime, there is something for everyone on all ends of the cell phone and school spectrum in this course.
What do you love about this course?
Julie Kuntz: One of my favorite things about this course is that we use real examples of cell phone school policies from school districts across the country. We've removed all of their identifying information, but we've kept all of their really excellent content so that you can see the variety of perspectives and ways that schools are navigating cell phone use from a policy perspective.
