What do you hope teachers will take away from this course?
Susanne Leslie: Hi, I'm Susanne. I'm the course writer for the Educator Bandwidth course. The course is based on a book by the same name Educator Bandwidth, How to Reclaim Your passion and Time and Energy for Teaching. So in the course, we will ask you to articulate exactly what your bandwidth is and where you are spending your time and you will have the opportunity to look at where your time is being spent. And if there's some ways to kind of move the chess pieces around to reallocate that time. We also hope that you will take away some renewed passion and energy for teaching.
What do you love about this course?
Susanne Leslie: What do we love about the course? Well, you get to create a band with band. So, in true form, you're gonna be able to pick like your guitarist, your lead singer. Well, not exactly, but you're gonna reach out to colleagues and friends and ask them how you can create a reciprocal relationship with you both support and encourage one another in the teaching field. You'll also have the chance to think about how time works for you and to create some boundaries between what are your responsibilities versus what are the responsibilities systemically or in the community when it comes to education. I go brush up on some of your mental health habits. And you also have some time to think about the possibilities. In other words, the things that you hope for and fresh ideas in education.
