What problem were you trying to solve when you started working with Continuous Scale?
Greg Davis: I inherited a relationship with Continuous Scale. I inherited a relationship with Continuous Scale. I was a board member at Bigleaf before I took over day-to-day operations, Stepping into the role, I was in the process of changing a lot of the folks that were in management and I really needed a strong hand to help me make more informed decisions, help me do analysis, and then, more important, if you will, help me get our closing packages together and help me communicate with the board. And we're very fortunate to be connected with a gentleman named Ben Martin. He's basically a member of my team and it's been a great relationship. We've since going through a Chief Financial Officer change, and Ben and the Continuous Scale team have really been instrumental in making that a smooth transition.
How did Continuous Scale help resolve this challenge?
Greg Davis: It's really about being part of the day-to-day operations. We spend a lot of time together working on project specific activity that has sort of an increased operational leverage, think of things as setting up commercial metrics inside the business and beginning to build operational discipline through metrics and those kind of things. And I lean on Ben and the Continuous Scale team not only for the the brainstorming side of trying to figure out exactly what it is that you're going to measure, but then how to structure the data, how to set it up and then how to operationalize it so that it's being used, for the purposes that you intended. It's a great relationship.
What results did you get with Continuous Scale?
Greg Davis: The primary thing that we get is ongoing results and ongoing deliverables that essentially put us in a position to make more informed decisions. You know, we have a philosophy that the best management teams are always making the most sophisticated and the best decisions and Ben and the team really help us get in a position to do that, by giving us enriched information that sits on top of our normal systems.
Would you recommend our service? Why or why not?
Greg Davis: Yes, certainly, I would recommend the Continuous Scale team to any business that has to punch above its weight and needs to scale and doesn't necessarily have the resources to do that. This is a good team to plug into your business.
