What was the business challenge that you were facing?
Luis Alejandro Lopez: Hello, my name is Luis Lopez. I worked with the CMP Concrete Pumping. We are located in Charlotte, Raleigh, North Carolina. Also in Columbia, Charleston, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. We have some jobs that are out of town and in Brandenburg Kentucky, Tennessee as well. Um, one of the challenges we, we encounter as a business is attrition. Nowadays, being able to keep an employee, it's uh, has become, it's gonna become a challenge. It became a challenge. You know, growing in different markets like Brandenburg perhaps like Tennessee um, like Charleston um, uh, you know, Charlotte was a developed market in a way, so, so was Raleigh, but these other markets are being developed and, and the challenge is trying to find the right people ah, to do the job. We uh, we're 60 pumps strong and here's where Contech360 came along and really make our life easier. You know, it's, it's, it's, We've been working with Contech360, a little over three months, 3.5 years, 3.5 months, almost four months I will say. Uh, and, and, and it's been challenging because you know, you have to dedicate yourself to to be better and I feel that that's what they, you know, when they came on board, that's what they want us to be to be better. Um, really, you know, getting, getting the, getting the right people for the job and being able to grow a market the right way is, is what we have been working on and I feel like we have been very successful so far
Tell us about how Contech360 helped with this issue?
Luis Alejandro Lopez: When Contech360 came along. Um again, I'm very new in in on on this and so I was very skeptical about, to be honest and, and then after a couple of weeks, the ability they have to get your ideas and put it on paper. I mean, it's just something that, you know, you would think it would come easy, correct, you just think about something you wrote, you read, you write it down and and you move on now, it's not that easy. We have put a lot of stuff on paper and then it's like, okay, what do we do next? So the fact that they gave us that guidance that we needed right to, to be able to achieve our goals, you know, set goals and objectives to be able to get up in the morning and actually, you know what you're going after All right. That was something that, that I will say it was to me, there was something that I haven't done before. So again, it gives me, the ability to be able to get those ideas, put it on paper and then, and then communicate that to, you know, a concrete pumping company that's got over 70 employees. That, that is just, that is amazing. I would say that's one of the, one of the things, the other thing is, you know, being able to choose the right person for the job and that's something that is still ongoing. We're working on, that we're developing that, how to get People on board and and the right people and Contech360 is helping with that as well. So I'm very excited to see what the future has to bring.
Tell us about the benefits you and your business received in working with Contech360?
Luis Alejandro Lopez: the benefits to be able to work with, Contech360 is really the coaching, the details and timelines and and the the deliverables, um you know, overall the ability to keep uh the process moving efficiently and while seeing results. When when you can deliver a message to a team of 70 employees and everybody seems to be happy correct, that we are finally have a structure. a guideline we can follow to to to do a better job because that, you know, the idea at the end of the day is that we do a better job for our customers, we do a better job for our employees, we do a better job for our company. So I feel that it's very, it's really advantageous to CMP to have a Partner with Contech360 and we're still working together and I'm looking forward to more in the future. We really have built something in, a really a short period of time, I mean 3.5 months, I mean it's just, and the company we have made a 180. So I'm really looking forward to to more to come
What would you say to other contractors that are considering business consulting from Contech360?
Luis Alejandro Lopez: What would I say to other contractors? I would say it's worth it. I have been connecting with Contech360 developing a structure and guidelines guidelines for for a company for little over three months now, and it's been very challenging because we're a construction customer service based company, so we're very, very busy, was actually getting busier and you know, one of the things that I really like about Contech360 was the guys, you know, we need to work together, I need to this date and this day and in the beginning I thought it was like, man, it's not possible, I can't do that. I mean, it's my operation and I was, I thought I was going to be working 24 hours a day, and really, the fact that they were able to be able to help us with with the structure has allowed me actually to have a, I feel like it has allowed me to have a little more free time somehow. So I would say to other contractors, if you are looking for structure guidelines, deliverables, goals, objectives, you know, creating all that definitely is worth the time, you know, given an opportunity. I would also say, you have to dedicate yourself don't jump on this boat, thinking yeah, I'm gonna try it for, you know, a couple of weeks. No, you gotta give it a few months and you see the results!
