Hi, my name is Larry Lauck. I'm President and CEO of the American Lighting Association. I'd like to invite each and every one of our members to attend the upcoming ALA conference to be held September 10th through 12th in beautiful Lake Tahoe. We've got an exciting array of business speakers - and we've listened to you - we have increased networking opportunities for two different days where we will take topics and you'll be able to drill down and address each of the business challenges you're facing in today's environment. Many people will say that they're too busy and they don't have time to get away from the office. But in a slowing economy, business experts will tell you this is the perfect time to get away and re-energize and get new ideas from your peers and from leading business experts so you can plan for the future when the economy does heat up going into 2024 and 2025. And one thing I'd like to add, since taking over at ALA, one of the first things we did, staff got together and we had a three year strategic retreat. We want to increase our membership engagement, add new programs, beef up communication and make ALA the exciting association that the industry needs as we move forward into 2024.
