West McDonald: Well, hey, everybody, Wes McDonald here and I'm the founder of Go West .AI and a proud member of CompTIA and the AI Advisory Council. We decided that we were going to give our donation to Tech For Troops. This is an organization that empowers using technology, families and veterans as they make their way back into the civilian world. Our community decided to support Tech For Troops with our donation because we all understand from a personal experience, the power of technology in transforming both our business and our personal lives. We've been very fortunate as technology solution providers, as MSPs, as managed print providers, as AI solution providers to have the benefit to have access to these technologies. And this is something that we want to give back to those that maybe just weren't as lucky to have that around them as they developed in their lives and their careers. So why is the CompTIA giving program so important to our community? I can tell you firsthand that alone, we can make a small difference. But together with the pooled resources of CompTIA members, we can make a much bigger difference and an impact on those organizations and those that we support through philanthropy. So I want to thank CompTIA for the opportunity for the AI Advisory Council to be able to contribute to Tech For Troops. We really hope that this makes a difference in the lives of the veterans, their spouses and their families as they move to use technology to move their lives and their careers forward. So, thank you.
Hi, I'm Mark Casper, president of Tech For Troops and we are at 501 (c)(3) here based in Richmond, Virginia. Our mission is to bridge the technology divide in the under-resourced veteran, active duty community. The veterans themselves, the active duty themselves, plus their families, the Children of these men and women who raised their right hand to serve our country. The donation from CompTIA had a massive effect on Tech For Troops. We were able to and still do support over 400 veterans that are attending community college throughout Virginia and we're able to support them with a one-year warranty because of the funding that we received from CompTIA So it is truly a blessing that we received the funding from CompTIA. So what I'd like to add is that our continued success depends on your support. So please support our mission to elevate under resourced, veterans, active duty and their families. So they too can bridge the technology divide. We all saw that happen in COVID and we need the support, the continued support from the community all across the United States to support the men and women who raise the right hand to make the world a better place for us to be safe at night.
