Speaker: Kimberly Bauer, Director of Competitive Intelligence at Lacework
Kimberly Bauer: Hi, my name is Kimberly Bauer and I am the Director of Competitive Intelligence at Lacework.
What will you be discussing at Virtual Competitive Intelligence Summit and why have you chosen this topic?
Kimberly Bauer: I'm on an awesome panel where we are going to be discussing maturing your CI program and how to do this with some great strategic goals. Over time to again, unlock that maturity of your CI organization.
If you could share one piece of advice to those who are just starting out in the competitive intelligence space, what would it be?
Kimberly Bauer: For those just starting out in CI I would say the number one thing you need to do is spend time with customers and spend time with your stakeholders. You can't do effective CI without understanding the pain and the challenges that your customers go through on a daily basis and developing relationships with stakeholders is right there underneath those customer relationships. Maintaining that trust, building that trust over time is the one thing I think that will help you expedite your learning and ensure that you are really getting that effective fly wheel of intelligence both from customers and from your key stakeholders.
