Tell us a little bit about you. What's your story?
Margaux A Miller: Hello, everyone. My name is Margo Miller. I am a Canadian first. Um But traveling often and I am a director of community globally for a big tech freelance network. Um But I have a big history in community. I think probably like many of you. I didn't realize at first that I was necessarily like working as a community builder. I was doing maybe community engagement, events, marketing, uh pr like all these kind of different. He says that eventually brought me to where I am today. So that's a little tidbit on the side. I love physical activity, getting outdoors, hiking in Canada. Um But, and just exploring, exploring cities now is my big thing. Why should community leaders attend Community-led World in London this year? (Or online)
Margaux A Miller: Why should you attend the Community Led World Summit in London this summer? Well, uh there are going to be first of all, some amazing people in attendance. And if you haven't been to a major community building event before a community for community builders, um it's really something so special. We're all the kind of people that wanna connect with each other. Share best practices, grow our communities, help our community to thrive. And when there is that in person connection, it certainly makes such a difference with that. I can say. Uh if you reach out to me personally too, I'll tell you exactly who, but met some amazing people at in person events like this and this is the first for the Community Led World Summit. And I think that's gonna bring even extra energy to it and be really special for those who are able to be there. So definitely hope to see you there.
What are you personally looking forward to regarding this summit?
Margaux A Miller: Well, I am so fortunate to be the MC, the host, the moderator of this year's Community led World Summit. So that is definitely what I am most excited about. That means I get to grace the stage with all of the amazing community builders, leaders, managers and speakers that are going to be on that amazing stage. And I get to introduce every single one of them and share their, their summaries of resources and amazing best practices with each of you. So I'm bringing the enthusiasm. I am super excited to be your MC uh for this year's first ever community led World Summit in London, England this summer. Hope to see you there.
