Speaker: Kate Luczynski, General Manager

How did you find your way to your current role at Coca Cola?

Kate Luczynski: Hello. My name is Kate luchinsky and I'm a GM at Coke Canada. I found myself in this GM roll through a progression of different roles, um, some lateral, some elevated over the past nine years. I started as a district sales manager and then had the opportunity to move into a very different role with the business transformation office where I really got to push myself outside of my comfort zone. And that role led to my route to market manager role in Western Canada, which is where I knew I really wanted to be a GM. So I worked on that role itself extremely hard and then took on some stretch projects to really help myself and to set myself up for success if a GM role ever did pop up and you know, at the end of the day, I wanted to make sure that the company knew that I was the best person for the role and that I was going to be set up for success to take on that next position. So here I am today as a GM and I'm loving it. Thank you.

Could you share a few details about the favorite part of your role and the team at Coca Cola?

Kate Luczynski: So we have some incredible people that work for us at coke Canada and I would say the best part of my role, my favorite part of my role is being out with my team. You know, whether that be out on the warehouse floor, merchandizing cases are spending the day in sales. I love to hear what they have to say. It's a great opportunity for me to listen and to take in that feedback and really just get to know them.

What stands out to you about the culture at Coca Cola?

Kate Luczynski: What I love about the culture at coke is that I get to bring my whole self to work every day. And that's my crazy, high energy self. And that's OK. At the end of the day, we are all human and we embrace each other's differences.
