What was your challenge prior to implementation of Bank Connect?

William Hughes: So at our firm, we were having trouble summarizing multiple client financial dashboards in one spot. We were using quick books to keep track of everything and it just wasn't built for the use case we had. The other challenge we had to deal with was connecting to live financial data and getting bank accounts auto refreshed and pulling that data into Salesforce so we can build automation around it.

How are things better now using Bank Connect?

William Hughes: So with using Cloud Maven's Bank Connect product, we've noticed three main areas of improvement. Number one is a lot of savings in time. The Bank Connect program is already built. The objects and the data structure is what we needed anyway, so we would have had to make that ourselves. And so we're able to kind of focus on the client design of, things of how we need to use the data for our business. So we've saved a lot of time, the solutions already built. And the big thing that I didn't realize was the support Cloud Maven provides on just being a listening ear for new ideas we have or how we maybe need to customize their product to fit a certain use case we have. They've been very helpful and very open to engage on offering their knowledge of how the back end of the product is built to customize it to our needs. That's been very helpful.

Can you estimate how Bank Connect helped in metrics (e.g.sales, production, time, and money)?

William Hughes: The reason we found Cloud Maven in the first place was we were investigating the use of the platform called Plaid which allows us to connect to financial accounts for our clients. We were originally looking at how to develop a Salesforce solution that integrated with Plaid and to build a custom solution, we probably would have saved a solid six months at least 100 hours plus in developer time and budget. If we had not found the Bank Connect app that were out there in Cloud Maven was the one we went with that met all of our needs and our just the design template we had in mind. So it was a giant savings in time, a gain in support and savings on the development budget as well.

William Hughes: I would recommend Cloud Maven to any, small business that's using Salesforce for any financial data. They've been very helpful and, we've learned a lot from them.
