Speaker: Angelica Resendez, Sr. Director of Homeownership Services, Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco

Please introduce yourself and describe the problem you were trying to solve when you purchased Credit Checker.

Angelica Resendez: My name is Angelica, and I work with Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco. I oversee our Homeowner Development Department. We've been around for more than 30 years, and unfortunately, we've been doing things the same way we did them 30 years ago. Specifically, I'm talking about how we screen applicants. One of our biggest obstacles was just the amount of time the team was spending on trying to qualify applicants for our homeownership program. So we were doing things manually and, using Excel sheets or Word docs, And then also not really tracking all the data in a central space. And so lo and behold, Credit Checker came around and it was kind of like an ah ha moment for us where we were like, why did this take so long for us to invest in something like this?

How are things better now that you are using Credit Checker?

Angelica Resendez: Now that we have Credit Checker, it's definitely going to help us save a lot more time. And as a nonprofit that's really important because we work with minimal resources So, I don't have a big team that's qualifying applicants, It'll just help us to be more efficient. I think also, it will help us to be more transparent with our clients. And it's also going to help us be more compliant because we have all of the data stored in our Salesforce database.

Can you estimate how much time and money you have saved by using Credit Checker?

Angelica Resendez: I really don't have a sense as to how much time and money we're saving, but I know it's a lot. I know it's substantial, and I know this because the organization we decided to invest in this because we just knew that it was really going to impact our bottom line.

Can you describe how easy or difficult the implementation and setup of Credit Checker was?

Angelica Resendez: Working with Ushank and team has been a really pleasant experience. They're super easy to work with very, very efficient, very communicative. After every meeting that we had, you know, there were follow up notes and follow up items, and when it was "ball in our court" we'd get that friendly, gentle reminder to follow up So I've been really impressed with just the level of professionalism, also the level of communication and transparency and, even more so, just the willingness to really partner with us again. Like as a nonprofit, we don't have a lot of budget set aside for this type of stuff. And so, Ushank's willingness to partner with us really says a lot about the company.

What is your overall level of satisfaction with Cloud Maven, Inc.?

Angelica Resendez: I would highly recommend that other agencies, other nonprofits like Habitat partner with Cloud Maven. It's been a great experience from beginning to end, and I know that, if we come, if we encounter any type of challenges or hiccups that they'll be available because that's what they've been doing. They've been really accessible to us thus far. So everyone, I think, benefits from this right? It's not just us as a nonprofit, as the lender, but also our clients are benefiting because we're responding to them in a much shorter timeline and again just being that much more efficient and transparent overall.
